The Publisher

I’m grateful to finally share this milestone.

The Forsaken has officially been submitted to the publisher after thirteen months of dedicated work. What began as a deeply personal journey is now moving into its next phase.

This story is especially meaningful because it brings forward the truth—after years of limited coverage and, at times, misinformation—and, more importantly, honors Rhonda and Donnie as the real people they were, not simply as victims. Their lives, their story, and their legacy are at the heart of this book.

Reaching this point hasn’t been easy, but it was important to take the time to do it with care and respect.

There is still more ahead in the publishing process, and I will continue to share updates as things progress.
